Green Thumb Water Garden Center provides services for short term and long term maintenance of your pond. We generally have Monday and Thursday for visiting your site for maintenance. Our normal maintenance includues:
Backwashing filters
Cleaning priming pots in external motors
Cleaning skimmers
Performing water testing including:
- pH testing
- ammonia testing
- salt level testing
- visual observation of fish looking for lesions, parasites, bacterial infections and unusual behavior
Maintaining pumps if necessary. External pumps can generally be repaired. Submersible motor are replaced.
UV lights are checked. Lights will be replaced if they are blown, and transformers checked for power.
Chemicals are added if necessary. Salt levels will be maintained along with GH and KH levels.
